One Saturday afternoon, I had nothing better to do so I decided, of all things to take a nap. Something I rarely ever do. I awoke a few hours later to find that I had missed a call and a text from my new acquaintance/industry insider friend, KD.
Turns out she was throwing a 30th birthday party/benefit for HIV & AIDS awareness at Club B.E.D, in South Beach, She needed a photographer for the night and wanted me to shoot the party. The party was off the chain (Does anyone even say that anymore?). Trina and Monifah hosted the event. Monifah also blessed us with a live performance of her new single (Hello iTunes!)
Everyone should bring celebrate the big 30 like this…. party with a purpose!
